HELLO, I’M SASHA.
I recently completed my master’s degree with a focus on renewable and sustainable energy at the University of Colorado Boulder and relocated to New York City to launch my career in the energy transition and sustainability.
I’m a certified LEED Green Associate with a passion for a sustainable built environment, specializing in energy efficiency, circularity, and decarbonization. I’m currently exploring opportunities where I can drive meaningful impact.

ABOUT
Outside of work, I’m a dedicated reader, self-taught nutritionist, ballet connoisseur, art and fashion enthusiast, and passionate traveler.
Born in Kazakhstan and raised in Siberia, I’ve lived in 4 countries and visited at least 27. My Sphynx cat, Fedya, heroically travels with me (poor thing!). I’m fluent in English and Russian.
A lifelong fan of Walt Disney and animated films, I find joy in storytelling, whether through designing impactful presentations or creating videos.
Former biathlete and swimmer, I’m now simply enjoying a cup of coffee, savoring each moment slowly and feeling grateful for the journey—past, present, and what's still to come.

PROJECTS
BOULDER JCC: CLIMATE, RESILIENCE, AND SUSTAINABILITY PLAN (CRSP)
In 2024, my team developed the BJCC’s first Climate, Resilience, and Sustainability Plan (CRSP), integrating ESG, CDP, and TCFD reporting principles with environmental metrics and KPIs across GHG emissions, energy, water, and waste. This work shaped the organization’s clean energy strategy and advanced its corporate sustainability agenda.
PERIMAS TECHNOLOGY: ENERGY PROCUREMENT STRATEGY FOR A GEN_AI COMPANY
In February, my team won the 2025 Leeds Sustainability Case Competition with our renewable energy procurement strategy for a GenAI company, outperforming 38 teams from 22 schools. Our solution included site selection, PPAs, and energy efficiency measures for hyperscale and edge data centers.
LOOP: PEER-TO-PEER FURNITURE RENTAL MARKETPLACE
In 2025, I came up with the idea of LOOP, a community-powered marketplace designed to improve the moving experience while reducing waste and emissions associated with traditional furniture consumption. This circular economy venture won the Climate Impact Award at the Campus Sustainability Summit.
SCHMOOGLE:
NET ZERO STRATEGY FOR A BIG DATA COMPANY
During my final semester in the GHG Accounting and Management course, my team earned the highest score for our in-depth GHG emissions analysis and reduction strategy for a large data company. Our approach combined renewable energy, energy efficiency measures, carbon credits, and RECs.
